Dion Home Inspection is built around Andy Dion — some reviewers call him Andrew — the inspector homeowners deal with directly on the job. He works home inspections for buyers across southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and the feedback on him runs from 2021 through this summer, so there is a five-year stretch of hires to read rather than a recent handful.

Buyers describe it as organized, photo-illustrated and quick: a homeowner this February said the emailed report was broken down with pictures in a way that was easy to comprehend, a client in a 2025 review had the completed report in hand within 24 hours, and a 2023 buyer said it included drone shots of areas that could not be seen from the ground.

Older and unusual houses are a recurring thread. In a 2025 review a buyer had a portion of a house dating from 1680 inspected and called him very familiar with historic homes; another that year credited him with separating out and highlighting the most important items in a large, historic house using high-tech instruments; a 2021 client had a log cabin walked through with maintenance intervals and filter changes explained on the spot.

Scheduling draws its own praise. A 2023 buyer said he offered multiple times over a holiday weekend and accommodated a change in plans, a 2025 reviewer called him very flexible on scheduling, and a 2024 client got availability right away. Pricing came up once, in a 2023 review that called it very reasonable alongside the detail of the report.

The praise is consistent from the earliest reviews through this August, and it is specific rather than generic — people name what he found, what he explained and how fast the report arrived.
