Last 6 months: 12 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read DiTroia Heating & Cooling is a one-technician HVAC outfit — Tyler — serving the North Shore of Massachusetts, installing and servicing furnaces, air conditioning and ductless mini-splits with 24/7 emergency availability, per the company's own site. Every review on file, twelve of them, was posted between May and June 2026 on Google, and every one is five stars. What repeats across them is Tyler doing his own diagnostic work rather than pushing extras: two reviewers specifically note he skipped the upsell — one after an AC breakdown, another after a sudden furnace failure — and both got same-day fixes. A homeowner with a mini-split that had stumped them describes Tyler showing up, finding the problem quickly, explaining it in plain terms, and fixing it that day; another describes a full mini-split installation in a basement as clean and professional, leaving the space comfortable year-round. The pattern extends to bigger jobs too — one reviewer describes an AC system replacement with a fair quote and a smooth install, another describes a maintenance visit where Tyler replaced parts and improved system efficiency. Response time comes up more than once: one customer got a technician out on a Sunday and worked around their schedule; another needed emergency furnace help and had heat back the same day. There's nothing negative to weigh against this, but it's also a short record so far: every review lands in the same few months, all through Google, all naming the same technician. That consistency is a good sign for what to expect, but there isn't yet a multi-year or multi-platform track record to lean on. For mini-split work, AC repair, or a furnace emergency on the North Shore, the early word is fast, honest, detail-oriented service from Tyler himself. **Strengths:** - No-upsell service — fixes only what's actually broken - Fast diagnosis — same-day fixes on breakdowns - Mini-split expertise — clean installs, clear explanations - Flexible scheduling — showed up on a Sunday call ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Skips unnecessary upsells during AC and furnace emergency calls _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT20xbVEzb3pURGhDTlRCMGVGbE1iVkptVGxCc09WRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xdeae41ab4e5d0054!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOm1mQ3ozTDhCNTB0eFlMbVJmTlBsOVE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ I contacted Tyler because my AC broke down, and he was available right away to help me out.
