## The honest read

Tree removal is the job customers describe most vividly: in a 2023 Google review, one homeowner said the yard looked as if the tree had never fallen after the cleanup. DJ Snyder Company is a Newton tree-care business that says it has served the community since 1981, covering Newton and nearby towns with removal, pruning, stump grinding, cabling, fertilization, pest prevention, and crane work.

The four quoted Google reviews from 2023–2025 are consistently positive. Customers mention crews taking pride in their work, clear communication, punctuality, friendly delivery, and professional tree removal; a 2024 Reddit commenter described a two-person crew with a chipper and a roughly $2,900 daily rate.

The company says it belongs to the Massachusetts Arborists Association and the Tree Care Industry Association. Its services range from structural and aesthetic pruning to stump grinding and crane and hoisting, so the scope of the job will matter when you call.

DJ Snyder is a sensible call for tree removal and ongoing tree care around Newton. Confirm the crew size, equipment, cleanup, and whether crane service is needed before agreeing on the work and price.

**Strengths:**
- Thorough cleanup — a 2023 reviewer said the yard looked untouched
- Reliable crews — customers mention punctuality and communication
- Tree-care range — removal, pruning, stumps, cabling, and crane work

**Concerns:**
- Project pricing — a 2024 Reddit commenter cited roughly $2,900 per day
- Equipment needs — confirm whether crane service suits the job
