Its website lists tree removal, mulching, mowing, trimming and lawn service, and names a service area running from Bridgeport and Fairfield to New Haven, Hartford and Stamford. A 2016 customer said DLTC designed and built a courtyard in front of their home, with a long stone wall, moved plantings, a Belgian block border and an oil-and-stone surface, at a competitive price. That 2016 customer also said DLTC handled weekly weeding and spring and fall cleanups on 2 1/2 acres. A 2016 customer said DLTC re-landscaped their front yard and later renovated their pool patio with multiple tiers, retaining walls and a fire pit. A 2016 customer said DLTC took over landscaping on two Fairfield County properties in poor shape, and that within a few months both looked healthy. A 2016 customer said DLTC had handled their snow removal, tree removal and shrub and tree trimming. A 2020 customer said DLTC repaired their lawn mower and leaf blower, and a 2021 reviewer described buying commercial equipment from DLTC as a dealership. **Strengths:** - A courtyard build — a 2016 customer described a stone wall and block border - A pool patio renovation — a 2016 customer described tiers and retaining walls - Weekly property care — a 2016 customer described weekly weeding on 2 1/2 acres ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says on Houzz it was founded by Jonathan Sweeney in 1983 _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/dltc-landscape-contractors-pfvwus-pf~814532723) — “About (Houzz profile, the business's own statement): DLTC Landscape Contractors was founded by Jonathan Sweeney in 1983 with the intent of p…” - 4.7-star Google average from 11 ratings and 5.0 stars on Houzz from 7 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=DLTC%20Landscape%20Contractors&query_place_id=ChIJf-c1vMMN6IkR2LH2uj0IBtU) — “Google: 4.7★ from 11 ratings” - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/dltc-landscape-contractors-pfvwus-pf~814532723) — “Houzz: 5.0★ from 7 ratings” - A 2016 customer described a courtyard build with a long stone wall and Belgian block border _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/dltc-landscape-contractors-pfvwus-pf~814532723) — “5★ DLTC cares for my lawn and plantings, 2 1/2 acres.
