## The honest read

Two family homes, with basements and garages to empty before going on the market: a recent customer wrote that Drew and Pat filled the trailer to the brim at both houses, scheduled a return trip the following week for the bulky leftovers, and did in 90 minutes what would have taken them weeks.

DMPS describes its work as weekly trash pickup, junk removal and light demolition in Gilford, Laconia, Gilmanton and the greater Lakes Region, and says it has been in business for 10 years.

One recent customer had 33-plus years of items cleared from a house that was being sold. A recent customer found that junk buried under a ton of pine needles had all been found and hauled off. A Lakes Region realtor with a last-minute clean-out said Drew's team even put back a decorative landscaping element the realtor had moved so the truck could back in. Drew and Pat removed concrete debris from a residential construction project for one customer and left the area clean. On a dumpster job, a recent customer said they packed it for the maximum load with nothing hanging off the sides or over the top.

One recent customer, sent to DMPS by the Laconia transfer station, wrote that Drew proposed three people for a large, heavy piece of furniture and that the whole job took about 45 minutes including clean-up. A recent customer has used Drew for weekly trash removal for two full summers.

A 2025 customer said they were patient with the extra work of getting a broken fridge out through the front door. A 2025 customer said they took care cleaning up the home and yard after demo work. A 2024 customer said Drew and Pat cleared a basement of several large wooden cabinets, a pile of debris and 26 cinder blocks, then swept the floor. A 2024 customer said the job turned out bigger than expected, so they came back the next week to finish it.

A 2025 customer complained of being dropped on the day of service, with an automated email and no reason given.

On Google, DMPS holds 5 stars from 239 ratings; Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0 stars from 9 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau grades it A+.

**Strengths:**
- A 90-minute haul — Drew and Pat filled the trailer at two family homes
- Careful dumpster loading — packed full with nothing hanging off the sides
- A basement clean-out — a 2024 customer had 26 cinder blocks hauled off

**Concerns:**
- A dropped appointment — a 2025 customer was cancelled on the day of service
