## The honest read

A week or so after Bruce cleaned one recent customer's couch, their 3-year-old got something on it that wouldn't come out, and the customer said he came back and cleaned it again for free. That is DMS Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners: carpets, rugs and upholstered furniture. The company's website says it cares for carpets and furniture, and it lists a service area running from Stamford, Norwalk and Greenwich up to Danbury. On Google it holds 5 stars from 34 ratings.

A recent customer said Bruce offered to come out and inspect the sofa and chairs before they committed, gave a prompt quote, arrived on time on the day of service and was careful around their small children. A recent customer said DMS cleaned a carpet that had both food and pet stains, and called the pricing very fair. A recent customer said Bruce cleaned a white couch with discoloration and stains from lots of use. A recent customer said he squeezed them in early to clean their couch.

A 2025 customer said Bruce came to assess the job, gave a very fair estimate and did the carpets not long after. A 2023 customer said they liked that the products were eco-friendly. A 2022 customer said they had used Bruce many times to clean carpets, area rugs and upholstered furniture, and that he had removed pet odor and stains.

**Strengths:**
- A free re-clean — a recent customer said he cleaned the couch again free
- A pre-job inspection — a recent customer said Bruce offered to inspect first
- Fair pricing — a recent customer called the pricing very fair
