A recent customer said the company removed 7 trees in very tight locations, with houses and a garage close by, and that the owner, Mike, and his crew cleaned up everything when they were done. After a major storm, Mike and his crew removed several large trees from a customer's property in Plainville; that customer called the prices reasonable. A recent customer who called for a tree removal quote said Mike came out quickly to assess the job and they agreed on a reasonable price. A recent customer wrote that the crew removed and ground a tree stump, helped remove bushes and cleaned up after. A recent customer said the company put in a new gravel driveway for them and also trimmed several trees on their property. A 2025 customer described an old oak hanging over the house, power lines and septic, and said there was not a scratch on anything. A 2025 customer wrote that Donahue & Son removed 3 outdoor stumps, 2 piles of debris, a 300 pound statue and a large indoor stump in one afternoon. A 2025 customer who called in the middle of a storm said Michael promised to be out in 30 minutes and was. A 2026 customer said they showed up 30 minutes after a call to plow a 100-yard gravel drive. A 2025 customer wrote that a drunk driver hit the company's equipment and the job was still finished in a timely manner. **Strengths:** - Tight-spot tree removal — a recent customer had 7 trees removed near houses - Storm tree removal — large trees removed in Plainville after a major storm - Stump grinding — a recent customer had a stump removed and ground - Cleanup after work — cleaned up afterward on recent jobs - Reasonable prices — prices called reasonable on recent jobs ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5 stars from 28 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Donahue%20and%20son%20llc&query_place_id=ChIJDUu_Qqfp54kRG85-_xHDSjY) — “Google: 5★ from 28 ratings” - Describes itself as a woman-owned minority small business working since 2023 _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://donahueandsonltd.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Donahue and Son llc is a Woman Owned Minority Small Business.
