A 2020 customer wrote that the company did a major renovation of a Vermont vacation home: a new living room, a new two-car garage, a complete renovation of the kitchen and master bedroom and bathroom, and all new windows. That 2020 customer said the project began in January and finished ahead of schedule in June, with the team led by Travis Cutler. A 2020 customer who used the company for a total house renovation and then a Passive House certified new home said that when major surprises came up, its staff sought quotes from additional suppliers or researched alternatives to keep cost in line. The same 2020 customer said Travis Cutler brought each mistake to their attention, provided a plan to correct it and accepted the cost to fix it. A 2021 reviewer wrote that Donald Blake built their house in 1985, the first house the company built, and that they had used it since for additions and major maintenance jobs. A 2023 customer said the company had spent 20 years planning, constructing and maintaining their home in Waterbury. A 2026 reviewer from Maple Corner Properties said they had done multiple projects with the company and that Travis Cutler's team completed projects on time at or below estimated cost. A 2023 customer who asked for a quote on a home renovation, with detailed architectural and engineering plans in hand, called the price exorbitantly high and stopped working with the company. That 2023 customer said a different construction firm quoted 50% less for the same project.
