A spring broke on a cold February night, a 2026 Google customer wrote, and after a $400 estimate for a custom-made part, the tech found a standard spring in his truck and repaired it for $150. That is the kind of call DSI Door Services takes: on HomeAdvisor, the Portland, Maine company describes itself as installing, servicing and selling residential and commercial overhead doors, and its website claims 35 years in business. The website lists service towns including Bridgton, Brunswick, Cape Elizabeth, Falmouth and Freeport.

A 2026 customer said Door Services replaced both springs on a garage door at their rental within a few hours. A 2025 customer said Bob and his team found a problem with the motor of a garage door that was not closing properly, then replaced it. A 2025 customer hired DSI to replace the top panel of a garage door.

A 2018 HomeAdvisor customer who could not open their garage door said Mary scheduled a same-day service, Bob showed up within 40 minutes of the call and had the repair done in 30 minutes.
