## The honest read

DT&S Pools installs and renovates swimming pools. A customer said David and his team did their inground pool renovation: the pool, over 40 years old, was due for a new liner, and the customer had them install walk-in steps and redo the underground piping. That customer called the workmanship professional and on schedule, and said Toph's Construction, which David recommended, installed new decking alongside them as one team.

A 2024 customer said Terry and David came out on time to do the estimates and completed an 18-foot above-ground pool installation in less than 2 days. In a 2025 review, a customer said the pricing was better than most.

A 2025 reviewer who called to ask questions about a potential quote said the man on the phone was rude and dismissive, and decided to skip the company.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0603231, as active, held by DT & S Pool's.

**Strengths:**
- Pool renovation — a customer said the renovation stayed on schedule
- Quick installation — a 2024 customer said an above-ground install took under 2 days
- On-time estimate — a 2024 customer said Terry and David came on time

**Concerns:**
- Phone manner — a 2025 reviewer called the man on the phone rude
