## The honest read

DUKES CONTRACTORS takes chimneys apart and puts them back together. A recent Google customer said the company took a fieldstone chimney down to the roof, installed copper flashing and rebuilt it with a crown and a stainless steel cap. That customer said Marco set a date a few months out and stuck to it, and the site was kept clean each day.

A customer who called Marco for a chimney and flue cleaning said he showed them pictures of issues and called back the same day with answers to their questions; part of that chimney was later rebuilt and flue liners installed, with everything left clean at the end of each day. A customer referred by their fuel supplier said the company did chimney and oil burner exhaust work and that the price seemed fair.

A 2025 customer said Marco and his crew replaced their chimney and faced it with stone, getting the job done in the time promised. A 2025 customer said the company cleaned and inspected their fireplace, arrived on time and took care to keep the surroundings clean. A 2023 customer said Dukes Contractor renovated their home and office.

The company lists Danbury, York, Fairfield and Litchfield as its service area, and it holds 4.9 stars from 18 Google ratings.

**Strengths:**
- Chimney rebuild — a recent customer described new flashing, crown and cap
- A kept date — a recent customer said Marco stuck to the set date
- A clean site — a recent customer said the site was kept clean daily
- Stone-faced chimney — a 2025 customer said it was done in the time promised
