## The honest read

When a storm uprooted a tree in one customer's yard, Zach came out and gave a price during the storm, then was back two days later to remove it. Dwights Tree Service names Middleborough as its service area on its own website and says it has been in business 25 years.

Zach and his crew took down dead ash trees and cracked locust trees leaning toward one customer's house; that customer says they showed up when they said they would and got through the work quickly and safely. A customer who first used the company for snow removal had them back for three trees that fell in that storm, and says they removed the fallen tree, stump and all, shredded extra branches and cleaned up the yard. Dwight came in the lowest of three quotes for a customer with large locust tree clusters overhanging a neighbor's fence.

A 2025 customer said Zach and his crew had taken down 12 trees the year before, and that Zach squeezed two more into his schedule ahead of a roof replacement. A 2025 reviewer wrote that Zach and his crew cut down more than six trees and left the yard neat in under eight hours.

The company plows too. A 2026 customer said it plowed their driveway and took extra time to shovel around the cars.

The locust-tree job did not start right away: that customer says bad weather and mechanical issues meant it took a couple of weeks to get in and get the job done.

**Strengths:**
- Storm tree removal — an uprooted tree was gone two days after the quote
- On-time arrival — a recent customer said they showed up when promised
- Stump and all — a fallen tree removed and extra branches shredded
- A low quote — lowest of three bids on one locust tree job

**Concerns:**
- A delayed start — weather and mechanical issues held one job a couple weeks
