## The honest read

East Coast Air is a Marshfield-based HVAC company that says it's veteran-owned and has served South Shore homes since 2005, focusing on heat pumps, AC, furnaces and boilers — with a particular focus on coastal salt-air installations. It's an authorized Mass Save Heat Pump Installer and a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor, and its stated service area runs from Marshfield and Quincy down through Plymouth and Duxbury.

Permit records on BuildZoom show ten completed HVAC installs — heat pumps, furnaces, AC coils and mini-splits — across Hingham, Marshfield, Cohasset, Norwell, Falmouth and North Easton, typically valued around $34,500 each. On Facebook, someone recommending contractors in the area named two of the company's people, Joel and Anthony, calling them easy to reach by text.

For a heat pump or AC install on the South Shore, especially anything Mass Save-eligible, the certifications and permit history here are the concrete things to point to — worth a direct conversation about the specific equipment and rebate paperwork before committing.

**Strengths:**
- Mass Save certified — authorized heat pump installer
- Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor — top installer tier
- Recommended online — easy to reach by text

**Where sources disagree:**
- BuildZoom's profile lists a Laconia, NH address, though its own permit history places the business at 29 Standish St, Marshfield, MA
