A recent customer who hired the company to refinish kitchen cabinets said the owner, Brett, required 50% down on signing. That customer said four months passed with no word, and four more before Brett showed up to start the project. About three-quarters of the way through, the customer said, an email brought a higher bill, and the cabinet doors and drawer faces would be withheld unless it was paid. The customer said he did lousy work, that they fired him and had him escorted off the property by the police, and that fixing the mess cost a lot of money. After an initial assessment meeting with Brett at their home, a recent customer said follow-up texts, emails and calls went unanswered. A 2025 customer said Brett and Ryan worked on the cabinets in three bathrooms and praised the communication. In a 2025 review of a kitchen update, the customer said Brett and his team covered everything before spraying and left no paint where it didn't belong. **Strengths:** - Covered before spraying — a 2025 customer said no paint landed where it shouldn't - Bathroom cabinet painting — a 2025 customer praised the work and communication **Concerns:** - A mid-job price increase — a recent customer said a higher bill came three-quarters through - A delayed start — a recent customer said the project began months after signing - Unanswered follow-up — a recent customer heard nothing back after an assessment - A 50% deposit — a recent customer said the owner required half down on signing ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer said the owner required 50% down, the project started months later, a higher bill arrived mid-job and they fired him _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2pGcmMxOXdOV1V4ZFV4c2RHNUxlWGt5WWxGaVJIYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xcd2a7dfe12ffa876!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjFrc19wNWUxdUxsdG5LeXkyYlFiRHc%7C%7C?hl=en) — “1★ Let me begin by saying Do Not Hire This Man!!
