On its own site the company says its approach was refined over fifty years, and it lists arborist services alongside landscape, water and snow management. A 2022 customer said they got an email before expected weather, then preparation ahead of the snow and ice, upkeep during the storm and follow-up afterward, with snow placed in clean lines that made parking in their lots easy. A 2022 reviewer said ELM delivered their project on time and on budget. A 2026 customer who said they had worked with ELM for 10 years wrote that Bruce managed his team with professionalism, and recommended the firm for commercial landscaping and snow removal. A recent customer whose HOA the company services says it ruined the community's grass, leaving weeds and crab grass all over. A 2025 customer said it took all day to plow 3 inches of snow at their condo and that equipment operators destroyed multiple curbs. A 2025 reviewer on Scofield Avenue in Stamford said one of the company's truck drivers failed to slow down or keep a safe distance as they signaled to turn into their driveway. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0541163, as active, held by Eastern Land Management Inc. **Strengths:** - Storm email updates — a 2022 customer got notice before expected weather - A project on budget — a 2022 customer said it came in on time **Concerns:** - HOA lawn condition — a recent resident says weeds and crab grass took over - Curb damage plowing — a 2025 customer said operators destroyed multiple curbs - Truck driver conduct — a 2025 Stamford resident reported an unsafe following distance ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Provides commercial landscape management, including property maintenance, irrigation, snow and ice management and seasonal decor _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/stamford/profile/landscape-contractors/eastern-land-management-inc-0111-87001475) — “About (Better Business Bureau, self-described): Eastern Land Management provides commercial landscape management services, including propert…” - Says its approach was refined over fifty years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.easternland.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): What We DoWhat we doLandscape ManagementWater ManagementSnow & Ice ManagementAmenitiesArborist ServicesPlan…” - [Official Website](http://www.easternland.com) — “Self-reported 50 years in business” - A 2022 customer described email updates before storms and clean snow placement in their parking lots _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSURtdWFlMU9REAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x88b6ee2d08591f6b!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgIDmuae1OQ%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Hands down the best snow removal service in Stamford.
