## The honest read

The installer's name comes up twice in EcoView's recent Google reviews: Jay White. EcoView Windows & Doors of Rhode Island replaces windows and doors from a base on Hartford Ave in Johnston, and its site lists Johnston, Providence, Cranston and Smithfield as its service area and offers free estimates.

The most detailed account, from August 2026, follows one job from the sales visit to install day: Madison demonstrated the windows and doors, and on the day Jay White called ahead to confirm, arrived early, reviewed the paperwork and measurements, cleaned up as promised and showed how to open, clean and close the new windows. That customer had the two main upstairs bedroom windows replaced. A September 2026 reviewer called Jay White's work neat and clean and said the price was great, and another September customer liked meeting Rayne but was still working out financing.

Not every visit ended in a sale. A 3-star September 2026 review said the company did not replace a bathroom window and back door on a mobile home with aluminum siding, and a 2-star July 2026 review said the appointment was just a quote for a new front door. Google shows 4.1 stars from 10 ratings.

The Rhode Island contractor registration #GC-42639, held by MPS Holdings LLC dba EcoView Windows of Rhode Island, is expired on the state registry.

**Strengths:**
- Installer communication — August 2026 customer got a call ahead and walkthrough
- Neat installs — September 2026 reviewer praised clean work and price

**Concerns:**
- Expired registration — Rhode Island registry lists contractor licence GC-42639 as expired
- Mobile home jobs — September 2026 customer's window and door not replaced
