On its Better Business Bureau page, it describes its work as the sales, service and installation of heating and air-conditioning systems. A 2025 customer said the company fixed their AC unit when another company was going to charge thousands to replace the entire system, and called the company fair and honest. A 2026 customer said the company ripped up and reinstalled the HVAC during a large renovation, and that the initial project went well but some of the work was left incomplete. That 2026 customer said it took more than 4 months to get them to come back. That 2026 customer also said the company charged a $500+ bill for 1 hour of work on the return visit, and that the communication they received when they asked about it was very short and unprofessional. It holds an active Connecticut D1 heating and cooling licence, HTG.0389393-D1, under Efficient Heating & Cooling Inc. **Strengths:** - AC unit repair — a 2025 customer said they fixed it and called them fair **Concerns:** - Incomplete work — a 2026 customer said some renovation work was left incomplete - Slow return visit — a 2026 customer said a return took over 4 months - Return-visit bill — a 2026 customer cited a $500+ bill for 1 hour ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it provides heating and cooling services for residential and commercial properties throughout Fairfield County _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://efficienthc.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Efficient Heating & Cooling provides quality and professional heating and cooling services for residential …” - A 2025 customer said the company fixed their AC unit when another company was going to charge thousands to replace the system _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnTURRLXAybmtnRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xb7f1fb9140424bb!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgMDQ-p2nkgE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ This company is excellent.
