EJ Paving is a Methuen paving contractor BBB-accredited since 2015 and currently rated A+, doing everything from driveways and walkways to commercial parking lots, sports courts and municipal paving work. With 4.7 stars across 196 Google reviews and a written record running from 2020 through this summer, it's one of the more heavily reviewed paving outfits in the area — and that volume cuts both ways.

The overwhelming majority of reviews describe the same thing: a named project manager — Graham, Jason, Steve Kupiec or Joe Greene shows up most often — who communicates clearly, keeps to the schedule, and runs a crew that finishes quickly and cleanly. Specific jobs back this up: a 2021 review described a new curb that finally solved years of yard flooding from a street with no sewers, a 2023 review described the crew securing special town permitting to repair storm-damaged pavement near conservation land, and a 2022 review credited staff member Andrea with sending a crew back, unprompted, to fix embankment erosion that had cracked a driveway installed years earlier.

The complaints that do surface are specific rather than vague, and they cluster around a few real issues. Several reviews — including one from a subcontracted job — describe a driveway edge cracking or crumbling within about a year of installation.
