Google shows 5 stars from 37 ratings, and Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.8 from 37. A July 2026 Google customer said the patio and stone retaining wall came in exactly at the price quoted, were completed on time, and that they have already re-hired the company for another stone project. Another July 2026 customer said the crew brought over numerous samples to help pick the right paver and did the patio during the 100 degree heat wave. A June 2026 customer who had a large patio and a retaining wall built said the company checked in several weeks after the project regarding any issues. A May 2026 Angi customer had pavers put on a driveway. A 2025 Google review and a 2024 Angi review each describe a father and son team. In a July 2024 Google review, a homeowner whose patio sank after another company's masons installed it said Eldjon came out within a day, and the crew removed the patio, laid gravel, re-compacted the base, re-laid it, replaced cracked stones and included a warranty on the work. A September 2024 Angi customer had a chimney repointed on time. In a September 2025 Angi review, a patio customer said the company guaranteed its work for 5 years. There are complaints too. A June 2024 Angi reviewer wrote that anyone should stay away from this company, without saying why. A May 2024 Angi customer said their small project was done as a side job, they had to wait longer than they wanted, and they had to pay cash because the company did not take cards. The Better Business Bureau grades the company C+ and shows 1 complaint. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0668594, is active on the state registry. **Strengths:** - Quoted price held — a July 2026 patio and wall job came in as quoted - Patio rebuilds — a 2024 customer had a sunken patio re-laid with a warranty - Follow-up — a June 2026 customer was checked on weeks after the job **Concerns:** - Side-job delay — a 2024 Angi customer waited longer and had to pay cash - BBB C+ grade — the BBB shows 1 complaint - Stay-away warning — a June 2024 Angi reviewer gave no reason ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5 stars from 37 Google ratings; 4.8 from 37 on Angi and on HomeAdvisor _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=EK%20Masonry%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJbWVC709Mc2QR4mH3EV_ESjc) — “Google: 5★ from 37 ratings” - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.EKMasonryLLC.134192255.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 4.8★ from 37 ratings” - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/waterbury/ek-masonry-llc-reviews-1.htm) — “Angi: 4.8★ from 37 ratings” - Connecticut home improvement contractor registration HIC.0668594 is active on the state registry _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT hic license HIC.0668594 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: EK MASONRY LLC” - A July 2026 customer said a patio and stone retaining wall came in at the quoted price and on time _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21kWExVcFhhemRxUTJOTlRFVklVbUZyVDNRM1ZrRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x374ac45f11f761e2!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmdXLUpXazdqQ2NNTEVIUmFrT3Q3VkE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Great experience working with EK Masonry!
