## The honest read

Elite Acoustical Ceilings installs drop ceilings. On Google it holds 5 stars from 40 ratings.

A recent customer had both a basement and a gym completed and chose black tiles for the gym. A recent reviewer praised the communication and the chance to ask questions, and said the work was on time.

A 2025 customer wrote that the company used a laser tool to show that the original drop ceiling was ill fitting and needed to come down a full inch to level the whole room. That 2025 customer said they also tore out a storage-area ceiling that was not secure and put in a new ceiling with round LED lights. A 2025 customer said the company replaced the old drop ceiling in the basement of a 100-year-old house and understood the need for reliable access to plumbing and wiring. A 2025 customer said they offered to run the compressor outside so the noise would not scare the children in the house, and that the ceiling came out perfectly level. A 2025 customer said foreman Victor explained the process, showed samples of drop tiles and offered suggestions on lighting.

A 2024 customer said three difficult basement rooms were done in one day. A 2024 reviewer said demolition of the old ceiling and installation of a new dropped ceiling were finished in one day, and recessed lighting was upgraded too. A 2023 customer said Victor and his partner also repaired some broken tiles in an adjoining ceiling at no cost.

A 2025 customer said the company replaced the ceiling of an entire building, working after hours and through the night so the work would not disrupt their day.

**Strengths:**
- Ceiling leveling — a 2025 customer said a laser tool showed the fix
- A one-day install — a 2023 customer said they were in and out in one day
- Three rooms, one day — a 2024 customer described three basement rooms done
- After-hours work — a 2025 customer said they worked through the night
