## The honest read

Elite Gutters is a family-owned gutter shop that says it has worked out of Peabody, Massachusetts since 2016 (its About page says 2017), covering Boston, Salem, Cambridge, Dorchester, Concord and Chelsea by its own account. Gutters are the core of the business — installation, cleaning, and repair — with exterior trim work, and, per its own site, roofing and snow plowing on the side.

On HomeAdvisor the company sits at 4.6 out of 5 across 52 ratings, and the written reviews on file run from 2019 to 2023 rather than clustering recently. The newer ones read well: in an April 2021 review a homeowner described the crew as prompt and courteous from quote to completion, responsive by email, and said they replaced some extra fascia that wasn't in the original quote without charging for it. A September 2023 review called the price reasonable for work on an older home.
