## The honest read

An 80+ foot oak and a 60+ foot pine, both dead, came down at one recent Google customer's property. That customer said Lucas and his 4 man crew arrived at 8 AM with all the equipment needed, spent 4+ hours removing the trees and cleaning up, and left no damage to the property.

EML Tree Services lists Newtown, Brookfield, New Fairfield, Southbury, Woodbury, Trumbull and Westport among its service towns, and its website offers tree removal, trimming and pruning, stump grinding, land clearing and brush removal. Its BBB page shows an A+ grade, and it holds a 5-star Google rating across 29 ratings.

A recent customer called about a fallen tree and said Lucas took care of it the same day. After several trees came down and several more were damaged on July 4th, a recent customer said Lucas and his crew cleaned up the large downed trees and trimmed the damaged ones to preserve them. A family wrote recently that they were grateful for the emergency response after tree damage to their home. A recent customer said other trees that needed to come down were cut at no additional cost.

A 2025 customer said Lucas and his team removed 5 trees, made fire logs and spread the chips around the property treeline for deer tick and vegetation prevention. A 2025 customer wrote of using EML twice to remove a total of 6 trees, including one very large maple, and said they avoided electrical cables and removed all debris. A 2025 customer who had tree removal and stump grinding done said they couldn't tell where the work had been done. A 2025 customer who had used EML for lawn service for years said they hired it for a landscaping project with multiple phases and coordination with another contractor.

**Strengths:**
- Large tree removal — a recent customer had an 80+ foot oak taken down
- A same-day visit — a recent customer said a fallen tree was handled that day
- Cleanup afterward — a recent customer said they cleaned up without property damage
- No-charge extra work — a recent customer said added trees came down at no cost
