## The honest read

Epic Exteriors is a roofing and exterior company in Southington, CT, holding 5 stars on Google from 218 ratings. Its website lists roofing, siding, gutters, window installation and skylight installation, and names a service area that runs from Southington to towns such as Avon, Bristol, Cheshire and Glastonbury.

One customer said Collin and his team replaced the roof in one day, and that Collin suggested using leftover copper from the flashing for a small copper roof over a back window. A customer replacing an old roof said Tim explained the material choices without high-pressure sales tactics and that the crew cleaned up every single nail from the yard. On a full roof replacement, a customer said Kyle handled all communication with the insurance company. When it started raining again on a house with water damage, a customer said Kyle came over immediately and placed a tarp on the roof.

A customer whose house was hit by a fallen tree said Casey and his crew repaired the roof damage and cleaned up afterward. A customer said the vinyl siding, soffit and fascia wrapping was completed in less than a week, even though the crew found significant structural damage at the start. A customer with a 100-year-old cottage and ice-dam damage said Brian had someone out the next day, and a crew was scheduled within 36 hours of the inspection to remove snow and ice from the roof.

In a 2026 review, a customer said Kyle Adams inspected the roof and found problems, and that the company stripped the shingles and replaced the entire roof in one day. A 2024 customer said the company replaced the roof and fixed a gutter that had been hanging down, without being asked. A commenter on r/Connecticut reported a 16k quote for a new roof on a 2500 sq foot house. Its BBB grade is A+.

During a roof replacement, a worker fell through the customer's dining room ceiling; the customer said the first repair looked like a patch, and a week later another worker spent about six hours re-patching and finishing it. The same customer said Kian had still not responded 24 hours after a follow-up about a deck replacement.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0672299, as active, held by Epic Exteriors LLC.

**Strengths:**
- One-day roof replacements — recent customers said the roof was done in one day
- Insurance claim help — Kyle and Tyler each worked a claim with a customer
- Nail cleanup — a customer said every nail was picked up from the yard

**Concerns:**
- Ceiling damage — a worker fell through a customer's dining room ceiling
- Follow-up replies — one customer waited on a deck replacement follow-up
