## The honest read

A recent customer with a long list of plumbing and fixture tasks said Juan traveled all the way from Connecticut to the Bronx on a Sunday to get them done, including work on a bathroom sink and a shower. A recent customer said Juan explained step by step what needed to be done, and that they can now use their dryer. Espinal Handyman Services describes itself as locally owned and operated, with 20 years of experience serving Waterbury, CT and surrounding areas, and it holds an A+ grade with the Better Business Bureau.

The work runs from small repairs to whole rooms. In a 2025 review, a customer described a tub replacement in their bathroom and praised the price for the amount of labor involved. A 2024 customer said a boiler repair was done in a timely fashion and economically. A 2023 customer said Juan and his team repaired water damage on a ceiling. A 2022 customer said Juan found wood that nearly resembled the original finish to repair worn window sills and baseboards. A 2021 customer said Juan helped remodel two of their kitchens. In a 2023 review, a business customer said Mr. Espinal replaced warehouse lamps, installed electrical outlets and installed new doors and windows in its warehouse and office space.

A 2024 customer said they paid nearly tens of thousands for a basement bathroom and kitchen that was never finished: the water lines were never connected, the shower arm was crooked and the vanity drain had an improper fitting. That customer called the work out of code and said they ended up fixing the issues themselves. A 2022 customer said the company used their house cleaning supplies without permission, did not clean up its mess, and left holes cut in the sheet rock undone and sloppy. A 2022 customer said the GC did not call or show up for a scheduled meeting at the property. A 2023 customer called the results irresponsible and mediocre.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0659093, as active, held by Espinal Handyman Services LLC.
