The site says it has been in business for 16 years and lists Greenwich, Stamford, New Canaan and Darien as its service area. On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 78 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+. One recent customer said Danny diagnosed the problem, installed their new Ecobee thermostat and checked that both heating and air conditioning were working. A recent customer whose new Bosch HVAC system went into a condo said Maria from the company and the electrician worked with them to secure the permits, and that airflow improved compared to the old system. A customer who had a new HVAC system installed said it had to integrate with older existing equipment and ran into a few issues after the initial installation; that customer said Mike, the owner, personally assured them the company would not walk away until everything was working. A recent customer said their previous provider had not helped after two visits, and Mike came out and provided an easy fix for the upstairs AC at no charge. A recent customer said the company came out the same day, and Aram found the problem and got the system running while new parts were on order. A 2025 customer facing HVAC, water heater and boiler repairs said Maria walked them through contacting the electrician and plumber the job needed, and that one of the main installers came back over Labor Day weekend to make sure there were no issues. That 2025 customer also said the work space was left clean each night. A 2024 customer said Danny showed them what was being repaired, flex duct work their cat had shredded, and patched up work the customer had done themselves. A 2022 customer said it took 2 days to replace their old gas boiler. A 2023 customer gave one star after a $500 visit to service two A/C units, saying one unit stopped working 6 weeks later. That 2023 customer also said they were charged about $65 over a humidifier filter that was taken out but never replaced, and that a promised call from a manager named Joe never came. Connecticut lists its S1 heating and cooling contractor licence, HTG.0405502-S1, as active, held by Evolution Air LLC. **Strengths:** - A permitted condo install — a recent customer said Maria helped secure the permits - A no-charge AC fix — a recent customer said Mike fixed it at no charge - A same-day visit — a recent customer said the company came out that day - A Labor Day check — a 2025 customer said an installer came back **Concerns:** - A humidifier filter dispute — a 2023 customer said a paid filter was never installed - An A/C unit failure — a 2023 customer said it stopped 6 weeks after service ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as a full-service HVAC company based out of Stamford, CT _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://evolutionairllc.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Evolution Air LLC is a full-service HVAC company based out of Stamford, CT.
