One recent customer, a new construction homeowner, met Bill, the owner, at the nursery with a general idea, and he selected all of the plants for their landscaping. That customer said Bill brought practical ideas for patio and walkway materials, shared his expertise on drainage and grading, and came in as the most reasonable of a couple of quotes. A 2026 customer praised Billy and his crew from the planning phase through execution, said they stand by their work, and said they were already scheduling a next project. A 2025 customer said they had used the company for several projects over the years, including hardscapes, plantings and grass prep-seeding, and was impressed by the staff working in all weather conditions. A 2025 reviewer said Bill and his team delivered hardscape installations as well as seasonal groundskeeping services. A 2025 customer said the team turned their parking pad into "a work of art." A 2025 customer said Billy calls and shows up when he is scheduled. A 2025 customer said things were clear and reliably done from the first visit to scope out the project to the wrap-up. A 2024 customer who built a new home in Rye said the company helped transform it "from a pile of dirt into a beautiful and functional environment," from ideas to proposal, then implementation and cleanup. **Strengths:** - Plant selection — a 2026 customer said Bill selected all of their plants - A reasonable quote — a 2026 customer said Bill came in most reasonable - Drainage and grading advice — a 2026 new construction homeowner appreciated Bill's input - Shows up as scheduled — a 2025 customer said Billy calls and shows up - Work in all weather — a 2025 customer was impressed by the staff's efforts ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it has been in business for 46 years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://exeterlandcontractors.com) — “Self-reported 46 years in business” - Names Exeter as its service area _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://exeterlandcontractors.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Exeter” - Credited for hardscape by nhhomemagazine.com _(confidence: medium)_ - [Local News](https://www.nhhomemagazine.com/a-forever-home/) — “nhhomemagazine.com — HARDSCAPE: Exeter Land Contractors 603-778-0005 exeterlandcontractors.com” - A recent customer said Bill selected all of the plants for their landscaping and advised on patio and walkway materials _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2prd1VrWm5jRTl1VEhkR1YybEJUMVppTWxGM1dFRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xd744ae61e8551143!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjkwUkZncE9uTHdGV2lBT1ZiMlF3WEE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We had a wonderful experience working with Exeter Land Contractors and would highly recommend them!
