A recent Google customer had the company replace aging shingles and tackle recurring ice dams by improving the roof ventilation and adding copper in the valley. That customer said Frank came back afterward to review the work and share photos taken during the installation, and the crew left the yard spotless with no damage to the shrubs. On its HomeAdvisor profile the company describes itself as a roofing and siding business based out of Lisbon Falls, serving central and coastal Maine, and its website says it has been in business 48 years. Its BBB grade is A+. When a recent customer called about an emergency roof dam issue, the company sent someone out quickly, and Ryan then worked out changes to prevent future issues and worked with the contractors handling the inside repairs. That customer said workers came as promised and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. A recent customer who used Fairbanks at both a residence and a commercial property said they answer texts and calls, show up on time and clean up when they are done. A 2026 customer said Ryan came over within two days of being contacted for a siding quote, and that installer Jim took his time, down to the smallest adjustment to the new doors. In 2020, a customer said the company removed asphalt shingles and installed aluminum in about 6 days. A 2020 customer who had the company do the roof, gutters and siding repairs said they only had to deal with one company instead of multiple contractors. A 2021 customer who liked the job said they received a second-notice bill without ever getting a first one, and got no response after asking for proof that the updated invoice had been emailed. A 2020 customer said workers walked through mulch beds, with some minor damage to existing plants. **Strengths:** - Quick quote visit — a 2026 customer said Ryan came within two days - Careful cleanup — a recent customer said the yard was left spotless - Emergency response — a recent customer said someone came out quickly **Concerns:** - Billing confusion — a 2021 customer got a second-notice bill without a first - Plant damage — a 2020 customer reported minor damage to existing plants ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer said Frank came back after a roof installation to review the work and share installation photos _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25sMkxTMUJTR05FUmtSWWIxQTNkVlJEWlRjdFRHYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xb03b5c38464b6c1b!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnl2LS1BSGNERkRYb1A3dVRDZTctTGc%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Fairbanks roofing did a wonderful job installing a roof on my house.
