## The honest read

Falcon Stump Grinding is a Clinton-based stump removal business with 5 stars from 15 Google ratings and an A+ grade on its BBB page. In its BBB description, the company says it grinds stumps several inches below grade with track-mounted equipment and backfills or stacks the debris. On its website, it says it will quote a price over the phone from the number of stumps and their measurements, or come out to measure for an onsite quote.

A 2025 customer said Randy, the owner/operator, returned their call the same day, came out at the agreed time and gave a quote on the spot for a large stump. A 2025 reviewer wrote that Randy removed five tree stumps from their property.

A 2024 customer said Randy gave a reasonable quote and, after the work was done, tried to set them up with a landscaper to soil and seed the area. A 2023 customer said their stump was very big and difficult to get to, and that Randy came back for a second pass because the chip grindings made it hard to see.

A 2022 customer said the owner came on time and gave a reasonable quote, and that after his cleanup you could hardly tell the stumps were removed.

**Strengths:**
- Same-day callback — a 2025 customer said Randy returned their call that day
- On-the-spot quote — a 2025 customer got one at the house
- Second grinding pass — a 2023 customer said Randy came back for one
- Cleanup after grinding — a 2022 customer could hardly tell stumps were removed
