Last 6 months: 0 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read Falmouth Kitchen Korner is a Falmouth kitchen and bath design firm led by president Marianne Sansone, whose Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active and verified against the state registry. The company's own website says it was founded in 1981; BuildZoom's permit-history profile instead describes it as over 29 years in business, so the two sources don't agree on exactly how long it's operated. The company's written history is thin — five reviews across 2020 to 2025 — but sharply divided. Three describe Marianne Sansone in glowing terms: a 2020 review from a client of nearly two decades called her the epitome of professionalism, and a 2024 review described her working out a complex remodel that required moving walls and plumbing and upgrading an electrical panel to accommodate new appliances. But the most recent review on file, from October 2025, describes something serious: a customer said the company designed and installed their kitchen differently from what had been discussed, delayed the start, and then, when problems came up, blamed the customer and the appliance sales team before walking off the job and never returning. That matches what BBB shows independently — the company carries a B- rating there specifically because it failed to respond to a complaint on file. For a kitchen remodel with Falmouth Kitchen Korner, the design work itself has a track record of real praise, including from long-time clients — but the most recent account on file describes a project that was abandoned mid-job with no resolution, and BBB's own grade reflects an unanswered complaint. Given how thin the written history is and how serious that recent account is, it's worth talking to recent references directly and getting a clear, written plan for what happens if the design or installation doesn't match expectations. **Strengths:** - Long-time praise — a 20-year client calls Marianne top professional - Handles complex jobs — 2024 review cites wall, plumbing, panel changes **Concerns:** - Job abandoned mid-project — a 2025 review said the crew walked off - Unanswered BBB complaint — B- grade reflects a lack of response **Where sources disagree:** - The company's own website says it was founded in 1981 (45 years in business), while BuildZoom's permit-history profile states the company has been in business over 29 years. ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Falmouth Kitchen Korner's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, verified against the state registry. _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://contractorhub.mass.gov/s/hic-contractor-search) — “MA hic license 107350 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: FALMOUTH KITCHEN KORNER, INC.” - BBB rates the company B-, attributing the grade to the company's failure to respond to one complaint on file; BBB shows 44 years in business, 5 employees, and Marianne Sansone as president. _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/falmouth/profile/bathroom-remodel/falmouth-kitchen-korner-inc-0021-41005) — “Better Business Bureau grade: B-” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/falmouth/profile/bathroom-remodel/falmouth-kitchen-korner-inc-0021-41005) — “1 complaint(s) on file (count only)” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/falmouth/profile/bathroom-remodel/falmouth-kitchen-korner-inc-0021-41005) — “The BBB profile for Falmouth Kitchen Korner, Inc.
