That 2023 customer said Nate offered a few different options, had plans made to submit for the permit, and completed the deck with good timing to use for the summer. Furniture is the other half of the story. A 2023 customer who first found Nate through a Facebook Marketplace posting for Adirondack chairs said that over a couple of months he made a swing, a dining room table and benches, side tables and a butcher block coffee table, and refinished a dresser he found for them. That 2023 customer wrote that the pieces were holding up well after two years and that the prices were more than fair. A 2025 customer said a custom planter came out exactly as described, and that Nate suggested a larger base than he normally would build for stability and burned the inside to try to make the wood last longer. A 2023 customer said they had used Far North for projects from carpentry to electrical to furniture design and home remodeling work, and that Nate was transparent with his pricing and would say when a job was outside his wheelhouse. A 2023 customer said Nate completed the job in one day and cleaned everything up with no trace he was there. Some jobs were washing work. A 2024 customer said Nate washed mildew from all over their siding. A 2024 reviewer wrote that exterior furniture, a deck and a patio were power washed, with attention to detail on deep soil surfaces. **Strengths:** - A pool deck rebuild — a 2023 customer said plans were made for the permit - Custom furniture — a 2023 customer described a table, benches and a swing - A custom planter — a 2025 customer said it came out exactly as described - Honest about fit — a 2023 customer said Nate would flag jobs outside his wheelhouse - Siding mildew washing — a 2024 customer said Nate washed mildew from the siding ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A 2023 customer said Far North Woodworks took down an existing pool deck and built a new one, with plans made for the permit _(confidence: high)_ - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/me/new-gloucester/far-north-woodworks-llc-reviews-1.htm) — “I hired Far North Woodworks to take down an existing pool deck and build a new one.
