## The honest read

A recent Thumbtack customer hired Eduardo of Farias Landscaping & Services to trim a hedge and ended up getting the front and back yard mowed and another shrub worked on as well. A recent Google customer who hired the company for landscaping said it follows through on completing the project.

A 2026 customer said a very large tree fell that spring, and Eduardo and his crew came to remove a precarious tree that was half standing and did a large clean up. A 2025 customer said they called Eduardo three years earlier when a tree fell in the back yard after heavy rain, and that the company had since taken over maintenance of the property. A 2025 customer said Eduardo removed a big tree that fell in the yard and also took care of the lawn.

A 2025 customer described cutting up a fallen tree, clearing a large area of brush and vines, and spreading yards of mulch. A 2025 customer listed everyday yard maintenance, special landscaping jobs, roof power washing and snow plowing over two years of working together. A 2025 customer said they had used the company for snow removal for several years, and that it showed up on time, early in the morning or after a big storm, to clear the driveway and walkways. A 2025 customer whose lawn mower stopped working said he made the time that day to come and cut the lawn. A 2025 customer said the company handled landscaping and gutters, and did junk removal too.

A 2025 Thumbtack customer gave two stars after asking for prices on fertilizer, weed and other lawn services: the customer wrote that three times he said he would send a price or invoice, and he never did.

**Strengths:**
- Fallen tree removal — a 2026 customer described a half-standing tree removed and cleaned up
- A same-day lawn cut — a 2025 customer said he came that day
- Snow removal — a 2025 customer said walkways were cleared after a big storm
- A hedge-trim job — a recent customer also got front and back yards mowed

**Concerns:**
- Price follow-through — a 2025 customer was told three times a price was coming
