## The honest read

"Though he presents himself as a very competent stonemason, Fernando is a multi-talented craftsman." That is how one customer opened a July review, having hired him to refurbish an old house — carpentry, outside drainage and piping, and repainting the interior. Stone is the name over the door; the jobs people describe run well past it.

The stone work is the anchor. One customer had a fireplace refaced in stone veneer and called it the centrepiece of the house. His Angi and HomeAdvisor service lists carry interlocking pavers for patios, walks and steps, stamped concrete, retaining walls, and stone and tile flooring, and a July customer credited him with hardscape pavers and concrete stairs on the same job as ceramic tile and light fixtures.

Tile comes up as often as stone. A July reviewer described an installation that came out perfectly with the work area kept clean and the job finished on time; another said a bathroom remodel came out better than imagined; a third called the whole project stress-free. One customer simply calls him their handyman — stone, wood work, tile, vinyl floors, paint — and had him repair their parents' home throughout.
