## The honest read

A foot of water in the basement, twice, and a sump pump that wasn't enough. A recent Google customer said Jason came over the next day and explained that a trench was needed around the foundation; that customer said his guys were there for maybe a week, and that he dug down near a window and sealed that up too, at no charge.

Ferrandino Enterprises' website lists general contracting, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, masonry, roofing, excavation, storm repair, waterproofing and landscape work, and the company says it has been in business 20 years. A recent customer said Jason and his team renovated two bathrooms and then came back to build an outdoor kitchen and patio. A recent customer who had a powder room renovated said Jason makes sure you know what they're doing, what it costs and what the result will be before moving forward.

A recent customer described roof repairs and a full roof retiling, plus kitchen ceiling restoration and floor repairs after a ceiling leak, and wrote that they helped manage the insurance company. A recent customer said Ferrandino offers dumpster service with a free 30 minutes of help with heavy items, and that they removed a couch.

A 2025 customer said Jason, the owner, assessed basement water damage from a broken pipe a couple of hours after the call, and that a team arrived the next morning and completed the remediation. A 2025 customer said Ferrandino spent a day redoing the grout on a bluestone walkway and patio it had replaced a couple years earlier, and didn't charge for it. A 2024 customer said a water infiltration in a 120-year-old basement was addressed in a couple of days with a sump pump pit, coordinated with the electrician for the wiring.

A 2025 customer who had front steps demolished and a new porch and steps built said that when something needed to be corrected, Jason accepted responsibility and made it right. That 2025 customer also wished the permitting process had been easier.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0627302, as active, held by Ferrandino Enterprises LLC.

**Strengths:**
- A foundation trench — a recent customer needed one after basement flooding twice
- Insurance help — a recent customer said they helped manage the insurance company
- A free regrout — a 2025 customer said the walkway redo cost nothing
- Costs explained upfront — a recent customer said Jason explains costs before moving forward

**Concerns:**
- Permitting process — a 2025 customer wished it had been easier
