A customer said Pete put in all new recessed lighting plus dining room and bedroom ceiling lights in a mom's condo in Heritage village, and took the time to explain everything to her. A customer said he installed three ceiling fans and ran separate lines from the refrigerator and microwave into the circuit breaker box. A customer who had several light fixtures replaced and two ceiling fans installed said Pete emailed an estimate within hours of their meeting and the project was completed over two days. A 2026 customer said Pete did an overdue main panel upgrade with a generator interlock and whole house surge protector. A 2025 customer said Pete handled the electrical work for a pool installation and kitchen renovation. A 2022 customer described upgrading electrical service and installing a standby generator. A 2018 Houzz reviewer said the work included going from 100 amp to 200 amp service, a new panel and a ductless heat pump/ac unit, with work areas left in broom clean condition. A 2023 customer gave one star, saying the business took several thousand dollars and never showed up, and that calls reached an answering service with no call back. Connecticut lists its E1 electrician licence, ELC.0200850-E1, as active, held by Ferrer's Electric. **Strengths:** - Ceiling fan job — three fans plus new lines to the breaker box - A quick estimate — a recent customer got one within hours - Panel upgrade — a 2026 customer said Pete added a generator interlock **Concerns:** - A no-show complaint — a 2023 customer said it took money, never showed ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says on Houzz it has served CT area homes and businesses since 2013 _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/electricians/ferrer-s-electric-llc-pfvwus-pf~379907200) — “About (Houzz profile, the business's own statement): Proudly wiring, lighting, re-controlling and electrifying CT area homes and businesses …” - Website lists Southbury, Fairfield, Litchfield and New Haven as its service area _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.ferrerelectricllc.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Southbury, Fairfield, Litchfield, New Haven” - Recessed lighting and ceiling light installation in a recent condo job _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21jeGRISmhNblI0T1c0MWQzVkZjR3g1ZWpkdFZtYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x7870b831e930a8a9!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmcxdHJhMnR4OW41d3VFcGx5ejdtVmc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We couldn’t be happier with Ferrer Electric.
