## The honest read

Ferris Landscaping is a Methuen landscaping company that BBB records show has been operating since 1984 — 42 years — with 4 employees under owner David Ferris.

The company's public review record is thin: a single 2020 Google review, rated 1 star, describes an employee doing a cleanup at Greycourt State Park in Methuen being rude to a park visitor — refusing entry, dismissive when questioned, and "turned his back" rather than explain. It's the only written account on file, so there isn't a broader pattern to weigh it against.

BBB doesn't rate the company either — it's Not Accredited and Not Rated, which BBB attributes to lacking enough information — and no complaints are on file there.

With four decades in business but only one public review, on-site conduct is worth asking about directly, and given the long history, references are a reasonable ask before booking.

**Concerns:**
- Rude conduct reported — 2020 review describes dismissive treatment at a job site
