Its website lists service towns including Ansonia, Branford, Cheshire, East Haven and Guilford, and the company says it has been in business 19 years. A hartfordbusiness.com article has named Roger Rossi as a principal of First Fuel Oil LLC. A 2026 customer said they ran out of oil the night before the MLK holiday, left a message, got a call back before opening hours and had oil delivered before 10am that day. A 2026 customer said the company worked through the weekend to get their oil delivered before the blizzard hit. A 2026 customer said that, "even with all the snow this winter," their driver (John, they believed) made it up their driveway to the house without hesitation or complaint. A 2026 customer said that after mistakes the staff made excuses and handed the phone to someone who swore at and threatened them. A 2024 customer said that when they called about a delivery set for Monday, they were told they would need to remove a second set of old pipes. A 2024 customer said the company told them it would not deliver to them anymore and gave no reason.
