## The honest read

Fix It Once Renovations is a home-improvement and remodeling contractor in Lexington, Massachusetts serving Lexington, Concord, Winchester, and surrounding areas. Houzz lists home improvement and remodeling, painting, and roofing and gutter work.

A December 2020 Houzz review describes the contractor as dependable, thoughtful, professional, honest, and excellent, and says he guided a homeowner and her daughter through renovation needs. That is a detailed but dated account, so current scope and availability should be confirmed.

Before booking, ask for a current written scope, materials, schedule, warranty, license and insurance details, and recent comparable projects. The profile spans remodeling, painting, and roofing/gutters, so clarify which trade and crew will handle the work.

The company may suit homeowners seeking renovation or repair work around Lexington. Verify the current service area and credentials before authorizing the project.

**Strengths:**
- Dated review — 2020 homeowner praised dependability and workmanship
- Service range — Houzz lists remodeling, painting, and roofing work

**Concerns:**
- Review age — only quoted account is from December 2020
- Scope confirmation — clarify trade, crew, materials, and warranty
