## The honest read

Flora Lawn & Landscaping Inc holds a 4.9-star average across 47 Google ratings and 4.8 stars across 71 Thumbtack ratings, and Thumbtack lists it as a Top Pro for 2023 and 2024. On Thumbtack, the company pitches itself on lawn mowing for both residential and commercial property owners.

A recent Google customer hired them for a spring cleanup and lawn mowing and said they arrived on time and worked efficiently. A recent customer said they installed mulch and landscaping fabric at the house, were easy to reach by phone, were quick with a quote, and communicated by text about options and availability. A recent customer said their yard "was awful and it looks great now," called the prices reasonable and plans to use them for biweekly mowings.

A recent customer who gave 3 stars praised the lawn work but said that after the first cut the truck broke down, with no call or text, and they didn't show up. That customer said the grass was cut that week after a call, then the gap stretched to 2.5 weeks, texts went unanswered, and the customer cancelled.

A 2023 Thumbtack customer chose them for a yard clean-up and weeding after looking at several companies, and later asked them to come back monthly, citing a fair price. A 2023 customer liked the crisp lines on the lawn, called the price reasonable and hired him to come back every 2 weeks. A 2023 customer said the yard work was done in a timely manner despite all the rain. A 2023 customer said he listened to what they wanted done, was right on time, and completed the work when the customer was having a party. A 2024 customer said he showed up when he said he would.

**Strengths:**
- Spring cleanup — a recent customer said they arrived on time, worked efficiently
- Mulch and fabric — a recent customer had both installed, with a quick quote
- A repeat booking — a 2023 customer hired him back every 2 weeks

**Concerns:**
- A missed visit — a recent customer cancelled after a no-show and unanswered texts
