## The honest read

Forbes Premium Fuel delivers heating oil, and a 2025 reddit commenter said they had gotten same-day oil delivery from them at least twice. A 2025 commenter said they use Forbes for its good prices and that it usually came very quickly if you said you were out or almost out. A 2025 commenter wrote that they also restart your furnace for free when you get a refill and usually deliver within the next day.

A 2026 commenter wrote that they had just used Forbes because it had the best price per gallon after much research. A recent commenter suggested checking whether Forbes delivers to your area, then calling to see if they can still lock you in.

Forbes also sells gas. A recent Google customer called it the cheapest gas they had found around New Haven. A 2026 Google customer said the young staff at the counter were rude and would not say what was available, and that they would never go back. A 2024 Google customer claimed the fuel was watered down and said their engine seized up.

**Strengths:**
- Same-day oil delivery — a 2025 commenter got it at least twice
- A free furnace restart — a 2025 commenter said it comes with a refill
- Quick when out — a 2025 commenter said they usually come very quickly

**Concerns:**
- Rude counter staff — a 2026 Google customer said they would not return
- A fuel quality claim — a 2024 customer blamed a seized engine on it
