## The honest read

Freedom Cleaning and Restoration is a New Bedford carpet cleaning and restoration business that says it has been in business for 34 years. Its website says certified technicians use truck-mounted hot-water extraction, and it names a service area of New Bedford, Fall River, Dartmouth, Taunton, Providence, Cranston, Pawtucket, East Providence, Bristol, Attleboro, Warwick and Newport. It says it offers free estimates and 24/7 emergency service, and that it is insured.

In a 2026 review, a customer whose home suffered water damage wrote that Randy and his team came to their rescue, that Randy worked tirelessly on their behalf with the insurance adjuster, and that the repairs done on the home were beautiful and detail-oriented. In a 2023 review, a customer wrote that Freedom responded to a water problem they had after very heavy rain and did a great job.

In a 2024 review, a customer who had an entire basement, two stairways and two bedrooms cleaned wrote that they were able to move furniture to clean the entire wall-to-wall carpet, and that the rugs came out great. In another 2024 review, a customer who had carpets, rugs and upholstery cleaned wrote that it was like brand new. A 2024 review from a buyer of estate rugs, often very soiled, said Freedom had restored all of their rugs with pick up and delivery.

In a 2024 review, a customer wrote that their new rug was installed quickly on their entry staircase. In a 2022 review, a customer who received a free carpet cleaning with a carpet purchase and installation from Morency wrote that they got an appointment right away, that they called ahead to confirm they were on their way, and that they said the carpet would take about 5 hours to dry.
