Its Connecticut home improvement licence HIC.0625576 is registry-verified active under the name Freedom Fence. A September 2026 Google customer said that within days of calling, their fence was repaired at a very reasonable price. In an October 2026 Google review, a customer said a break in the fence line was repaired the same day they asked, and that the crew took steps so the line would not break in the same spot again. A December 2025 Google customer said Hal and his team took care of their repair within hours. In a 2022 Google review, a customer said the fence was installed and their puppy was trained all in the same day. A 2023 Google customer called Hal after their dog got out and had service the very next day, when Elpidio found a broken wire and also found an issue with the dog's collar. In Google and Angi reviews from 2020, 2023 and 2026, customers said the wire was left on top of the ground instead of buried. An October 2026 Google reviewer said the wire broke, another company had to fix the problem, and they had paid $1,600. A 2023 Google reviewer said they got no estimate and were charged way too much money for less than an hour of work. In a 2021 Google review, a customer said the company did not show up for consecutive appointments without even a phone call. **Strengths:** - Same-day repair — an October 2026 customer had a line break fixed the day they asked - Install and train — a 2022 customer had the fence in and the puppy trained the same day - Fast repairs — a December 2025 customer had a repair done within hours **Concerns:** - Unburied wire — customers in 2020, 2023 and 2026 said the wire was left above ground - Price — a 2023 reviewer was charged way too much with no estimate - Missed appointments — a 2021 customer said the crew did not show up or call ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - An October 2026 customer had a break in the fence line repaired the same day they asked _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xSSFMwdDFUM3A0VVd3NGFFRmFZVFJ2ZFhOVWVYYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x3e8db8fd16881f65!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlRHS0t1T3p4UWw4aEFaYTRvdXNUeXc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “4★ Hall and team provided prompt service to repair a break in my electric dog fence line the same day I inquired about their service.
