The company lists its service area as Brunswick, Rockland, Yarmouth, Portland and Georgetown, and says it has been in business 17 years. It holds an A+ grade from the BBB and a 4.9-star average across 69 Google ratings. A customer with a leak said it was a week from first contact to installation, the roof went on in one day, and Brad sent update photos throughout the day. A customer who found missing shingles said Brad's team responded that day with a fair estimate. A customer whose split-townhouse roof was damaged in a storm said Brad coordinated with the other owner to have the entire roof replaced. A customer of about eight years said Brad's team has replaced a roof, fixed a leaky chimney and fixed a leak on a sunporch, and that Brad called after the first rain storm to ask how the repairs were holding up. A vinyl siding customer said the crew was fast and on time, and that the job cost more than other contractors but was worth it. A 2023 customer replacing a 23-year-old roof ahead of a solar install said Brad helped pick the shingle and drip-edge colors and the crew finished the roof in less than a full day. A 2022 customer said Brad's crew did a full strip, new drip edge, underlayment and new shingles in one day, where one other company was going to overlay the existing shingles for the same price. A 2020 BuildZoom review is a serious complaint: that customer said a $15K roof contracted through Lowes leaked after installation, that several patch fixes did not stop it, and that new sidewall flashing was never installed. **Strengths:** - One-day roof install — a recent customer said the roof went on in one day - Same-day estimate — a recent customer said they responded that day to missing shingles - Progress updates — a recent customer got drone footage as the roof went on **Concerns:** - Leaks after a reroof — a 2020 customer said a Lowes roof job kept leaking - Higher siding price — a recent customer said it cost more than other contractors ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Replaced a very old metal roof with new decking, underlayment and architectural shingles and reflashed the chimneys _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25oZmRERndlRVp6WTNkM1kxZGFibVphTW5CNmJHYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x2f3115e8e20a22ed!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnhfdDFweEZzY3d3Y1dabmZaMnB6bGc%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Brad and his crew did a great job replacing my very old metal roof on my 200 year old house with all new plywood decking, underlayment, a…” - A recent customer said the roof was installed a week from first contact and finished in one day, with update photos _(confidence: high)_ - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.BradFreemanandSon.51272089.html) — “5★ We are thrilled with the work that Freeman & Sons did on our roof.
