A 2022 customer named Pete Galatis as the owner and wrote that on most jobs it was just Pete and his son Ty, with other help brought in when a project required it. The work runs from small repairs to whole houses. A 2026 customer said Pete handled framing, drywall and door installation, and that they showed up on time and explained what they were doing. A 2025 customer said Peter found where water was coming into a condo wall, fixed it along with the other damage, and pitched a built-in A/C unit correctly so its water would run away from the wall. A 2025 customer said Peter and his sons repaired a house that had been a flooded wreck. A 2025 customer wrote about work on porch stairs and a chimney and was satisfied with the price. A 2025 customer described good work repairing an old barn and said everything was cleaned up afterward. A 2025 customer said they love their new kitchen and that Peter offered ideas to save money. In 2024, a customer said Pete and his son ran into mold and subfloors rotted by water leaks while working on their retirement home, and fixed what came up. A 2024 customer said Peter and his sons built their deck. A 2024 customer said their 580 sq ft home, down to the studs, needed a total remodel and an added porch, and that Peter and his son did the insulation and siding. A 2023 customer said Pete's son Nic painted the interior of their house, and that Pete then spent a couple of days with them fabricating faux beams from pine boards and securing them to the ceiling joists. A 2022 customer said Pete and his sons installed new windows and doors, built an entry roof over the door and put in a new gutter. A 2025 customer gave three stars. That 2025 customer said most of the paid work was completed, but a crawl-space room meant to protect the water system was not finished until the end of August 2025, though ground was broken on the project in January 2025, and that the delay caused more water issues. That 2025 customer also said he broke several things in the house, left the box truck on the front lawn for weeks after the project should have been done, and that they had to caulk the bathroom vanity themselves. **Strengths:** - Water damage repair — a 2025 customer said Peter found where water came in - Cost-saving ideas — a 2025 customer said Peter offered ideas to save money - A total remodel — a 2024 customer described a down-to-the-studs remodel with a porch - A family crew — a 2022 customer said most jobs were Pete and son Ty **Concerns:** - Job sequencing — a 2025 customer said the crawl-space room should have come first - A truck left behind — a 2025 customer said it sat on the lawn for weeks ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 4.9 stars from 21 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Galatis%20Construction&query_place_id=ChIJ5znMfvVkqCsRZlerZUpQhtI) — “Google: 4.9★ from 21 ratings” - A 2022 customer named Pete Galatis as the owner and said most jobs were just Pete and his son Ty _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUQtc1pXZ19RRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xd286504a65ab5766!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgID-sZWg_QE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Pete Galatis (owner) is very good at everything he does.
