## The honest read

Galletta Bros Services is a moving and hauling outfit with a 5-star Google average across 75 ratings. Its website describes the business as a local team run by two former Division I football players, and names a service area that includes Stamford, Norwalk, Greenwich, Westport, Darien and New Canaan.

A recent customer said Griffin and his team wrapped, packed, disassembled and reassembled everything for a move in Greenwich. A recent customer moving about a mile within Greenwich said stairways, elevators and narrow corridors made the job harder, and also used the company for post-move assembly. A recent customer said the company handled a move from a boat to a hotel. A recent customer moving from Greenwich to Westport said the company packed and boxed a 6-bedroom house, around 60 to 70 boxes, and brought it to the new home. A recent customer said the owner came within 24 hours of the first call to assess the job and gave an estimate on the spot; on move day, some furniture had to be hoisted through a terrace into an old walk-up house, and that customer said nothing was scratched.

A recent customer said Griffin completed a 2-bedroom apartment clean-out in about 6 hours. A recent customer called one evening and said Griffin was at the house the next morning to clear items left by previous owners, including a mulch bin full of ants. A recent customer said Griffin and Logan removed a heavy glass TV stand the same afternoon they called, and kept them updated on arrival by text. A recent customer said the brothers gave an estimate before taking old screens and heavy doors out of an attic, with $75 of the price going to the dump fee.

A recent customer said the company pressure washed their house and patio.

**Strengths:**
- Careful wrapping — a recent customer said fragile furniture arrived in one piece
- Quick junk pickups — a recent customer had a TV stand removed the same day
- A tight-stair move — furniture hoisted through a terrace with no scratches
