## The honest read

A garage door that was probably more than 60 years old, with cables that finally gave in, and a large company saying only a new door would fix it: a recent customer said Brian of Garage PRO did not give up on it and had it working again in a few hours. Garage PRO's website lists a service area that includes Norwalk, Westport, Darien, Stamford, Greenwich, Rye and White Plains, and it holds 5 stars from 55 ratings on Google. A 2025 customer named its owner as Brian Lodice. The company says it offers a one-year warranty on labor.

A recent customer said Brian made a big effort to help with a garage door on short notice. A recent customer with a unique ask said Brian worked with them to stay within budget and the job was finished on time.

A 2026 customer said he came in as soon as he could after the blizzard, got the new opener installed in a few hours, and followed up a few days later. A 2025 customer whose door needed a new motor said Brian replaced the rollers and the motor, and said they then had a hard time hearing the door open and close. A 2025 customer whose cables snapped said Brian came right out, explained the options, repaired the door and offered to replace broken wheels on the other door for a reasonable cost.

A 2025 customer said that after a garage door opener was stolen in a car break-in, Brian came over that afternoon, a Saturday, brought a new remote and reprogrammed the system so the stolen one would not work. A 2025 customer said that during an install, when the door was slightly scraping the track on closing, Brian adjusted the track so there was no scraping. A 2025 customer said Brian repaired a garage door that had begun to sag at one end and explained the causes of the malfunction.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0699635, held by Garage Pro LLC, as inactive due to non-renewal.

**Strengths:**
- Old door revived — a recent customer said a 60-plus-year-old door worked again
- Short-notice help — a recent customer said Brian helped on short notice
- Saturday visit — a 2025 customer said Brian came that afternoon after a theft
- Opener replacement — a 2025 customer said Brian replaced the opener and reprogrammed Homelink
