The company says it was founded on the principle that a small company could offer a hands-on approach, and that since 1999 it has prided itself on bringing plans to life one home at a time. On its BBB profile it describes its work as construction management, coordinating architectural plans, renovations and new home construction. A 2015 customer said Randy, Jose and their team of contractors got them back into their new home within 6 months of breaking ground after the storm. A 2015 customer said they first used Gatehouse in 2004 for a major renovation of a 1930s home, which included replacing the entire electric and plumbing, redoing the kitchen and bathrooms and moving several internal walls. A 2018 customer described a large, multi-phased renovation in Greenwich, CT that Gatehouse carried from preliminary budgeting to execution. A 2016 review from a lighting designer said Randy worked with them on a back-lit Tiffany window with substantial space restrictions and very precise lighting requirements. A 2015 customer said Gatehouse built their home 8 years earlier and that Randy had followed up on questions since the home was completed. A 2015 customer said that from a billing perspective the homeowner will always know where they stand. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0562566, as active, held by Gatehouse Partners LLC. **Strengths:** - A storm rebuild — a 2015 customer said they moved in within 6 months - A 1930s home renovation — a 2015 customer described new electric, plumbing, kitchen and baths - Clear billing — a 2015 customer said homeowners always know where they stand ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it was founded on the principle that a small company could offer a hands-on approach, bringing plans to life one home at a time since 1999 _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://gatehousepartners.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Gatehouse Partners was founded on the principle that a small company could offer a hands-on approach.
