In a 2023 review, a customer said they had a yellowjacket nest in a void under a ramp and got a Monday afternoon appointment after calling on a Sunday. That 2023 customer said Scott, the tech, put on his bee suit, and the bees were seemingly gone by the next day. A 2022 customer who moved to Wilton said they kept a quarterly contract and that the company would come out for a no-charge courtesy visit if an issue came up between scheduled visits. A 2022 customer with a log home in a wooded area of Carmel said the company came out in a day or so for urgent requests and would re-spray for free under a 60-day guarantee. A 2022 reviewer who described themselves as a local contractor said Andrew and his team were thorough in their inspection and mitigation on a project that needed termite and insect remediation. A 2022 customer said Andrew and team got rid of the ants in the house after "Home Defense" had failed. A 2022 customer with carpenter ants and wasps said Andrew and Nick came out immediately, talked through a plan and treated the issues. A 2025 customer with mice in the basement said baits and glue traps were put out but the outside of the house was not inspected. That 2025 customer said the mice then died inside the basement, leaving a constant smell, and that another service later found and sealed the outside entry points. **Strengths:** - Yellowjacket nest treatment — a 2023 customer said the bees seemed gone next day - A re-spray guarantee — a 2022 customer described free re-spraying within 60 days - Termite remediation — a 2022 local contractor praised the inspection and mitigation **Concerns:** - Indoor mouse baiting — a 2025 customer said mice died inside the basement - No outside inspection — a 2025 customer said the exterior was not inspected **Where sources disagree:** - Google reviews name the business Best Pest, one calling it Best Pest of Brewster, while its website calls it Get the Pest ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says on its website that it does not push maintenance contracts _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://getthepest.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): We provide the simplest, most effective and safe pest control treatment with every customer.
