## The honest read

Giani Exterior Services cleans the outsides of houses. Its website lists house washing, roof washing, gutter, deck, concrete and fence cleaning, patio cleaning and resanding, oxidation removal and window cleaning, and the company says it has been in business 12 years. It names a service area that includes Nottingham, Portsmouth, Exeter, Dover, Durham, Hampton and Rye. On Google it holds 5 stars from 61 ratings, and its BBB grade is an A.

One recent customer said Alex was not happy with how a first siding cleaning went on oxidation, so he came back to try something else. That customer also said he took some branches off the roof because he knew they don't do ladders. A customer said Alex and his crew arrived on time and finished within the anticipated timeframe on a moldy home and a stand-alone screenhouse, and that the white deck now looks like it was just installed. A customer said Alex power washed a deck and outside shower, then stained every inch. Alex also power washed one customer's business on short notice.

A 2025 customer said their own pressure washing had not cleared chalk residue from roughly five-year-old siding, and Alex suggested a more manually intensive process that did the trick. A 2025 customer said Alex came out personally to evaluate the scope of work for power washing moss from the roof's crevices and the deck, then sent an estimate that priced each piece individually and let them choose. A 2025 customer said Alex pressure washed white vinyl siding and white aluminum-wrapped fascia boards on the entire house, and even the skylights on the roof.

A 2024 customer said Alex cleaned leaves off their roof and treated growth found during a home inspection with a soft wash. A 2024 customer said the company came to powerwash outdoor furniture and decks, and they did not find one spot missed across many spindles.

**Strengths:**
- A return visit — Alex came back to retry an oxidation siding cleaning
- Chalky siding — a 2025 customer said a manual process cleared residue
- Itemized estimate — a 2025 customer chose from individually priced pieces
- Roof soft wash — a 2024 customer described leaves and growth cleared
- On-time arrival — a customer said Alex and his crew arrived on time
