The customer had approached the company that spring about air conditioning and replacing an oil-fired heating system. Tyler Williams provided a more detailed proposal at a better price than the other firm they consulted, and Girard scheduled the installation quickly after they chose it. Dylan, Luke and the rest of the installation team put the system in place with minimal disruption, according to that customer. Dylan explained its operation before finishing. Girard's office staff also filed paperwork with Westfield Gas and Electric to secure substantial rebates on the new system. Girard is based in Westfield, and its website says it specializes in heat pumps only. It advertises free estimates and names Springfield, Northampton, North Adams, Amherst, Barrington, Westfield and Pittsfield in its service area. Its Massachusetts HVAC licence 658-SM-B is active on the state registry under Girard Heating And Ac. Google shows a 5-star average from 39 ratings. A May 2026 customer said a mini-split installation finished on budget and on schedule, with the technicians accommodating requests for system placement. Carl O. of North Adams wrote in April 2026 that the heat pump installation team cleaned up at the end of each day, keeping disruption to a minimum, and gave clear instructions for using the equipment. Service customers also describe the work inside their homes. A June 2026 reviewer who uses Girard for properties in the Berkshires said they watched Sael, whom they called “Si,” perform annual HVAC maintenance. They praised his thoroughness and said he explained the system, answered questions and checked that everything was operating properly. In a September 2025 review, Leo and Doreen Laporte said Girard had been their only service provider for two home air-conditioning units. They described Sael as their recurring technician, praised his work and cleanup, and said he asked whether anything else was needed before leaving. **Strengths:** - Installation timing — a June 2026 customer reported completion within five days - Budget and schedule — a May 2026 customer said both were met - Daily cleanup — an April 2026 customer praised tidiness during installation - System explanations — June 2026 customers praised Dylan's instructions and Sael's explanations ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A June 2026 customer described a whole-house, two-floor heat pump installation with six mini-splits and a hybrid water heater, completed within five days. _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=3910347869051799253&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “5★ We contacted Girard this spring to investigate installation of mini-splits for air conditioning, and also requested a quote for completel…” - The June 2026 customer said Tyler Williams provided a more detailed proposal at a better price than another firm, and Girard scheduled installation quickly after their decision. _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=3910347869051799253&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “5★ We contacted Girard this spring to investigate installation of mini-splits for air conditioning, and also requested a quote for completel…” - The June 2026 customer said Dylan explained the system's operation and Girard's office staff filed paperwork to secure Westfield Gas and Electric rebates. _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=3910347869051799253&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “5★ We contacted Girard this spring to investigate installation of mini-splits for air conditioning, and also requested a quote for completel…” - A May 2026 customer said their mini-split installation finished on budget and on schedule, with technicians accommodating requests for system placement. _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=3910347869051799253&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “5★ Mini split installation was completed on budget and on schedule.
