The company describes itself as a masonry contractor working in stonework, brickwork, concrete, pavers, patios, chimneys and retaining walls, and says it has been in business for 15 years. A recent customer said GL Masonry replaced their deteriorated chimney. A recent customer had the company replace a front stoop and said they arrived when stated and worked non stop. A recent customer said Zimi and his crew put in a new sidewalk and patio. A recent customer said a siding repair that started as a small project turned into a larger one, that the repaired siding blends with the rest of the house, and that they cleaned up thoroughly at the end. A recent customer said Zimmie and his crew completed a sidewalk and porch along with all the carpentry work. On the commercial side, a recent customer said the company did fencing, concrete steps, masonry work and the anchoring of a patio cover roof around a new smokehouse at Hoodoo Brown BBQ. A 2026 customer with a cracking chimney and a severe backdraft said the team came earlier than expected, raised the chimney, finished it with a stone cap, and power washed that side of the house at no additional charge. A 2026 customer thanked the owner, Zim, and said the company rebuilt their stone walls, repaired and repointed their chimneys and installed a paver driveway. A 2026 customer whose 32-year-old blue stone sidewalk kept sinking said Zim got back very quickly with a fair estimate, and that the new sidewalk turned out easy to shovel that winter. A 2025 customer said Zim and his team installed a stone chimney on their house. A 2025 customer said they got rid of a deck and had a paver patio put in. A 2025 customer said Zim redid their entire basement after a flood, updated their kitchen, replaced the planks on their deck and built a new stone walkway, steps and overhang on the front of the house. A 2025 customer said Zim put in a hardwood floor over a linoleum floor, trimmed overgrown bushes, and called to do routine checkups on the work he had done.
